A concise and focused look at Kandinsky, both the paintings and his evolution as an artist. Great prose, throughly precise descriptions. I read this twice, and learned a lot about Kandinsky both times, including the fact that he apparently wrote poetry. Heh. I feel more comfortable discussing him as an artist now
